May 20th, City of Tateyama and USA TRIATHLON signed "STATEMENT OF MUTUAL AGREEMENT".
 
This January, USA TRIATHLON contacted City of Tateyama, because they were told by JAPAN national team's coach that Tateyama city is good place for camps. And also, as training facilities in Tateyama city are appearing in web site of The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, they checked it.
 
This February, John Farra (High Performance General Manager / USA TRIATHLON) and Courtney Gardner (HP Olympic Program Senior Manager / USA TRIATHLON) visited Tateyama city to check whether Tateyama city is good place for training camps. After ITU World Triathlon Yokohama 2019 that was 18th May in Yokohama, they visited Tateyama city again with Ryan Bolton (Technical Director / USA TRIATHLON) to do a final check. So, they decided to sign "STATEMENT OF MUTUAL AGREEMENT".
 
USA TRIATHLON, who was in first to third place at Elite Women in ITU World Triathlon Yokohama 2019 are going to hold training camps in Tateyama city to take part in 2019 Tokyo ITU World Olympic Qualification Event that will be 15th Aug in Odaiba Marine Park.
