With a history reaching over a thousand years, the biggest festival in Tateyama city is “Yawatan-machi”. Eleven “Mikoshi” (Portable Shrine) and five “Dashi” (float) from fifteen shrines in the area turn out for the event. Enjoy the rolls of drums and energetic voice echo.
